Smudge as often as feels right for you, whether daily, weekly or monthly. Always ensure the stick is fully extinguished after use and store safely in a heatproof container such as an Abalone shell, which can also be used to hold and collect ash during your cleansing ritual.

Natural dried herbs are delicate and some movement during transit is expected. Any loose pieces can still be burned separately on a heatproof dish or shell so nothing is wasted and the plant is fully honoured.
