Moon and Earth Crystals was born from lived experience. From a deep love of crystals and energy work but also from burnout. From trying to keep pace with a way of working and living that asks us to be constantly available, productive and switched on, often at the expense of our nervous systems, our wellbeing and our families.
Like many people, I spent years trying to keep up with a model of life that does not truly take us into account as human beings. Eventually my body asked for something different. Moon and Earth emerged from that moment, not as a business idea, but as a conscious reimagining of how life and work could feel when they are rooted in alignment, care and respect for natural rhythms.
Crystals have long been part of my personal and professional practice as a Reiki and Crystal Healer. They were central to the women’s circles I held, where we would gather, set intentions on the New Moon and work with crystals as supportive allies. But I found it increasingly difficult to source crystals I could fully trust, stones that were natural, authentic, ethically sourced and treated with integrity.
So I took matters into my own hands.
Moon and Earth was built slowly, through research, relationships and listening. I sought out small, family run suppliers, independent mines and craftspeople who care deeply for the land and the communities they are part of. Every crystal is chosen with discernment. If it is not a stone I would choose for myself, a loved one or a client, it does not come into Moon and Earth.
Every crystal that leaves us is cleansed and charged with Reiki energy, restoring it to a clear and balanced state before it begins its journey to you. We work only with natural crystals and are always transparent about sourcing and preparation. Integrity matters deeply to us, both in the stones we offer and in how we speak about them.
Moon and Earth is a small family business, still run from our home, just as it was when it first began. We value quality over quantity, connection over speed and presence over pressure. In a world that is increasingly oversaturated with noise, urgency and instant delivery, we consciously choose a slower, more human pace.
We work in alignment with the seasons and the Wheel of the Year, allowing our business to move through cycles of growth, fullness, rest and renewal. At certain times, particularly during winter, we intentionally slow down or pause our dispatches. This is not a lack of care or commitment. It is a conscious choice rooted in sustainability, wellbeing and long term integrity.
Conscious commerce, for us, means that how we live and how we work are not separate. It means choosing not to operate at full speed all year round. It means protecting the energy that goes into every order, every crystal and every interaction. Orders are hand packed, crystals are individually selected and everything is prepared with care rather than urgency.
Moon and Earth exists to offer more than just crystals. It is about creating a different way of doing business, one that honours energy, family, seasons and the nervous system. It is about choosing to buy small, buy consciously and move through life with greater awareness and intention.
As a mother, it matters to me that my daughter grows up seeing that this is a valid and meaningful way to live and work. With care. With connection. With integrity.
