Marking the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice reminds us that darkness and light are not opposites, but part of the same natural cycle.
And perhaps the same can be said of our own lives.
Every year brings its own seasons.
Moments of joy, connection and discovery. Times of growth and expansion. But also periods of uncertainty, change, loss and unexpected challenges.
Not everything unfolds as we imagined.
And not every experience needs to be understood, resolved or transformed into something positive.
Sometimes, simply acknowledging what has been is enough.
This Winter Solstice, we invite you to create a little space to honour the year you have lived, in all its fullness.
HONOURING THE DARKNESS, WELCOMING THE LIGHT
At the heart of this collection is an original guided ritual, lovingly created by Katie, founder of Moon & Earth.
Inspired by the natural rhythms of the seasons, this reflective experience invites you to journey back through the year.
To recognise what has brought you joy.
To acknowledge what has been difficult.
To notice what has changed, what has fallen away and what has quietly sustained you.
There is no pressure to find meaning in everything that has happened.
No expectation to release what you are not ready to let go of.
And no need to rush towards a new beginning.
Instead, as we honour the darkness and welcome the gradual return of the light, we create space to consider what we might wish to nurture in the months ahead.
Not through resolutions or expectations, but through curiosity, compassion and a willingness to remain open to what is yet to unfold.
A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF WHAT'S INSIDE
Each Winter Solstice Reflection Box has been thoughtfully curated to accompany your ritual experience.
Your collection will include:
• Three carefully selected crystals, each chosen for its symbolism and place within the ritual.
• A specially commissioned, handmade beeswax candle, created to represent the beautiful relationship between darkness and light.
• An original printed Winter Solstice ritual guide, written by Katie, offering a gentle, step-by-step journey through reflection and connection.
• Natural, understated presentation, with each element carefully packaged to create a meaningful experience from the moment you open your box.
The individual crystals will remain a surprise until your collection arrives.
Every element has been chosen with intention, creating an experience that can be treasured and revisited long after the Winter Solstice.
WHEN TO ENJOY YOUR RITUAL
Although inspired by the Winter Solstice, this experience is not tied to a particular date.
You may wish to undertake your ritual on the Winter Solstice itself, during the quieter days between Christmas and New Year or as a meaningful way to mark New Year's Eve.
You might simply choose a quiet moment in December when you feel ready to pause.
Allow approximately 20–30 minutes for your ritual, although you are welcome to take as long as you need.
No previous experience of working with crystals or creating rituals is necessary.
Simply find a quiet space, bring a journal if you wish and allow yourself to be guided.

All boxes are planned for dispatch during the first week of December, allowing plenty of time to enjoy your ritual around the Winter Solstice or save it for the turning of the year.
