And visually, the combination is incredible. The natural Amethyst formation is still there beneath those intense purples, blues, greens and golds, so you're getting something completely different while still working with the underlying Amethyst crystal.

What is Titanium Aura Amethyst?

Titanium Aura Amethyst begins as natural Amethyst. The crystal is placed within a vacuum chamber where vaporised metals, primarily titanium, are permanently bonded to its surface. This extremely thin metallic layer creates the dramatic rainbow iridescence without painting or dyeing the underlying crystal.

The resulting colour can move through purple, blue, turquoise, green, gold and sometimes pink depending on the light and viewing angle.

I think it's important to be transparent about Aura crystals. This is genuine natural Amethyst which has subsequently been treated to create the Aura finish. The extraordinary rainbow colouring itself is not naturally occurring.

The Titanium Aura finish is particularly vivid, moving from an intense electric purple at the base through blue and turquoise into green and gold towards the top. The darker central crystals create a dramatic contrast against the iridescent surface.
