Serpentine Witch Carving

Natural Serpentine witch carving for transformation, emotional balance, protection and connection with the Earth

These wonderfully characterful Serpentine Witches are carved from natural Serpentine from Pakistan, with pointed hats, expressive faces and tiny broomsticks. Each piece has its own natural patterning, ranging from deep forest green through to lighter mottled greens and creamy mineral markings. Serpentine is traditionally associated with transformation, emotional balance and connection with the Earth, making the symbolism of the witch particularly fitting for this unusual little carving.

Why I Chose This Crystal

I love the variation in these. Although they're all the same witch carving, the natural Serpentine makes each one look completely different, from those really deep earthy greens to the beautiful lighter mottled pieces.

There's also something very fitting about combining Serpentine with the symbolism of the witch. Serpentine is traditionally associated with transformation, ancient Earth energy and reconnecting with our own inner wisdom, while the witch has long represented intuition, independence and a deep relationship with the natural world.

What is Serpentine used for?

Serpentine is the name given to a group of related minerals, most commonly recognised by their beautiful shades of green. It has a long history of decorative and spiritual use and is traditionally associated with transformation, connection to the Earth and energetic renewal.

Within crystal healing traditions, Serpentine is also closely associated with kundalini energy and is often used in practices centred around awakening, personal growth and releasing old energetic patterns.

Energetic Properties

These witches are carved from natural Serpentine from Pakistan, and the variation between individual pieces is part of what makes them so beautiful.

Some are a rich, almost forest green while others have lighter green and creamy mottling running throughout the stone. Your witch will be intuitively chosen from the pieces available, so the exact colour and natural markings will be unique to the piece you receive.

How to Work With This Crystal

Serpentine is a particularly interesting crystal to work with during periods of personal change. Use your witch as part of meditation or intention setting when considering what you're ready to leave behind and what you would like to create space for instead.

The combination of Serpentine and witch symbolism also makes this a meaningful addition to an autumn or Samhain altar, particularly for practices centred around intuition, transformation and connection with the natural world.
