Why I Chose This Crystal

I absolutely love the colouring in these. They are only little points but there is so much happening within them, from the deep green to those beautiful silvery feather-like markings that seem to sparkle and shift when the light catches them.

I also love Seraphinite energetically. It has this beautiful combination of heart healing and higher spiritual connection, which feels particularly supportive when you are changing, healing or trying to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. These little points feel like a lovely way of working with that energy without needing a large statement piece.

What makes Seraphinite so special?

Seraphinite is a variety of clinochlore, a mineral belonging to the chlorite group. Fine structures within the deep green stone interact with light to create its characteristic silvery chatoyancy, producing the beautiful feather-like patterns for which Seraphinite is known.

These markings are often compared with feathers or angel wings and inspired the name Seraphinite, a reference to the Seraphim. Much of the material most strongly associated with Seraphinite comes from Russia and good examples are prized for the contrast between their rich green colour and luminous silver markings.
