These substantial Selenite Towers from Morocco are beautiful crystals for bringing the traditional cleansing and purifying energy of Selenite into your home or workspace. At approximately 22–24cm tall and weighing from 620g, these are wonderfully substantial pieces that can be used for cleansing your space, crystals and jewellery as well as meditation and energy work.

I absolutely love Selenite and genuinely think there is a place for it in every crystal collection. It's one of the crystals I use most because it's so simple and practical to work with. You can have it beside you, place it in a room or use it to cleanse your other crystals and jewellery.

I particularly love these large towers because they have a real presence. They're substantial pieces of Selenite and look beautiful in the home, but they're also incredibly useful. I love them in bedrooms, treatment rooms, meditation spaces and places where you work or study.

Selenite has such a calm, clear energy and for me it's one of those crystals that doesn't need to be complicated. Simply having a beautiful piece nearby can become part of the way you look after the energy of your space.

What is a Selenite tower used for?

These are large, substantial pieces of Moroccan Selenite with the beautiful luminous appearance that makes this crystal so distinctive.

Selenite has a naturally fibrous structure and the light moves through those fibres to create its characteristic silky, almost moonlit glow. Turn your tower or move around it and you'll see the appearance change according to the light.

Each tower is individually hand cut from natural Selenite, so you should expect differences in its fibres, translucency, surface markings, dimensions and overall shape. Some stand almost perfectly straight while others have a gentle natural lean.

These variations are part of the character of working with a natural material rather than something manufactured to identical specifications.

 How to Work With This Crystal

One of the reasons I love Selenite is how easily it fits into everyday life.

Place your tower somewhere you naturally spend time. This might be your bedroom, living space, office or somewhere you meditate. You don't need to do anything complicated with it.

For crystal cleansing, leave your crystals or jewellery beside the tower when you're not using them. You can also hold the tower during meditation or slowly move it around your energetic field as part of your own cleansing ritual.

Selenite should always be kept dry. It is an extremely soft mineral and prolonged exposure to water can damage its surface and structure.

Because these towers are individually hand cut from natural Selenite, dimensions are approximate and can vary between pieces and batches. This includes the width of the base. Some towers stand very upright while others may have a gentle natural lean. Each tower is checked to ensure that it stands securely before leaving us.

Selenite is an exceptionally soft mineral and can be scratched with a fingernail. Small surface marks, fine scratches, natural fibres and areas of flaking can occur during cutting, handling and transport even when the crystal has been carefully looked after. These are characteristics of Selenite rather than necessarily being damage.

Please keep your Selenite dry and handle it with care.
