Why I Chose This Crystal

This is an absolutely beautiful Polychrome Jasper sphere. I was immediately drawn to the amount of colour and movement within it. There are layers of soft pink, terracotta red, burnt orange, mustard yellow and cream swirling into areas of muted blue-grey and deeper earthy tones. Every time you turn it, you find another completely different landscape.

I also love Polychrome Jasper for its energy around change. It feels incredibly grounding but not static. There is warmth and vitality to it too, almost as though it reminds us that feeling secure doesn't have to mean staying exactly where we are. We can have our feet firmly on the ground and still allow ourselves and our lives to evolve.

Polychrome Jasper is a variety of Jasper found primarily in Madagascar and is known for its distinctive flowing patterns and incredible range of natural colours. Individual pieces can contain combinations of red, pink, orange, yellow, cream, brown, grey, blue-grey and green, creating patterns that often resemble landscapes.

The patterning in this sphere is incredible. Soft pink and cream move through rich terracotta, rusty red, orange and mustard yellow with areas of muted blue-grey and deeper earthy colour appearing as you turn it. Some areas are sweeping and fluid while others form beautiful bands and almost landscape-like patterns.
