The clarity of this piece is incredible, it's almost like looking through water, with the dark phantom floating inside as though you are seeing a moment in the crystal's growth held perfectly still. I love what phantoms represent too. We grow around everything we have lived through. Those parts of our story don't need to be hidden or erased. What is Phantom Lemurian Quartz used for?

Phantom Quartz is traditionally associated with transformation, personal growth and moving through different stages of life with greater understanding. The phantom records an earlier stage of the crystal's physical growth before the Quartz continued forming around it, which is why it has become such a beautiful symbol of our own layers of experience and evolution.

Lemurian Quartz takes its name from the spiritual belief that these crystals were encoded with the wisdom of the ancient civilisation of Lemuria. Lemurians are particularly associated with Brazil and are recognised by the distinctive horizontal striations or ridges running across their faces. These markings are sometimes referred to as the crystal's 'barcodes' and are traditionally worked with by gently running a thumb or finger across them during meditation.
