Mini Black Obsidian Toadstool

Natural Black Obsidian mini mushroom carving for protection, grounding and energetic boundaries

This tiny Black Obsidian Toadstool is carved from natural Obsidian and polished to a beautiful glossy finish. Black Obsidian is traditionally associated with protection, grounding and strong energetic boundaries, while mushrooms and toadstools have long been connected with the earth, transformation and the hidden cycles of nature. Small enough to keep in a pocket, add to an altar or tuck into a little crystal collection, these are a lovely way to work with Black Obsidian every day.

Why I Chose This Crystal

There's something so lovely about these tiny toadstools. They're beautifully polished, wonderfully tactile and despite being miniature, the deep glossy Black Obsidian gives them real presence.

I also love the combination of the toadstool, with all its associations with the earth and transformation, and a crystal traditionally worked with for grounding and protection.

What is Black Obsidian used for?

Black Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass formed when silica-rich lava cools rapidly. It has been worked with for thousands of years and is traditionally associated with protection, grounding, truth and energetic clearing.

Many people are drawn to Black Obsidian when they want to strengthen their boundaries, release old patterns or feel more grounded during periods of change.
