This Madagascan Fire Quartz Sphere is an exceptional quality piece, filled with rich Hematite inclusions, beautiful internal veils and an abundance of natural rainbows. Also known as Hematoid Quartz, Fire Quartz combines the grounding qualities traditionally associated with Hematite with the amplifying energy of Clear Quartz. It is particularly supportive when you need to feel grounded and steady without losing your motivation, confidence or sense of forward movement.

Why I Chose This Crystal

I couldn't leave this one behind. There are rainbows everywhere you look, sitting amongst beautiful rusty reds, softer peach tones and layers of clear Quartz. Fire Quartz has this wonderful combination of grounded Hematite and amplifying Quartz energy, and this is such an exceptional example of why I love Madagascan material.

I'm also incredibly proud of how our Madagascan crystals are sourced. We work with people we've known for years who have direct relationships with the miners and workshops there, ensuring people are paid fairly for their work. It costs more to source crystals this way, but when the result is quality like this, I wouldn't want to do it any other way.

What is Fire Quartz?

Fire Quartz is a variety of Quartz containing natural Hematite inclusions, which create its distinctive red, rust, orange, peach and sometimes darker markings. It is also commonly known as Hematoid Quartz.

Energetically, the combination is particularly interesting because Quartz and Hematite bring together two quite different traditional qualities. Hematite is associated with grounding, stability and connection with the physical body while Quartz is associated with clarity, cleansing and amplification. Together, Fire Quartz is traditionally worked with when we want to feel grounded enough to channel our energy with greater clarity and purpose.

This is an exceptional quality Madagascan Fire Quartz sphere. Rich rusty red and burnt orange Hematite moves through clearer and softer peach-toned Quartz, creating incredible depth within the crystal.

What makes this particular sphere really special is the amount of internal detail. It is absolutely full of natural rainbows, appearing amongst the fractures, veils and Hematite inclusions as the sphere is turned through the light.

At over 70mm in diameter and almost half a kilogram, it also has a wonderful presence. The spherical form allows you to keep turning and exploring it, with different inclusions, colours and rainbows revealing themselves from every angle.

How to Work With This Crystal

Hold your Fire Quartz sphere between both hands when you feel scattered, overwhelmed or unsure where to direct your energy. Bring your attention into your body and allow yourself to become grounded before setting an intention for what you actually want to focus on.
