This Madagascan Fire Quartz Freeform is an exceptional quality piece, combining rich Hematite inclusions with beautifully clear areas of Quartz, shimmering internal veils and an abundance of natural rainbows. Also known as Hematoid Quartz, Fire Quartz brings together the grounding qualities traditionally associated with Hematite and the clarity and amplification of Clear Quartz. Why I Chose This Crystal

The windows into this piece are just beautiful. As you turn it, you can see through different layers of Quartz into the Hematite within, with shimmering internal veils, reflective foils and exceptional rainbows appearing on both sides. It catches the light incredibly well and there is always something new to discover inside it.

I'm also incredibly proud of how our Madagascan crystals are sourced. We work with people we've known for years who have direct relationships with the miners and workshops there, ensuring people are paid fairly for their work. It costs more to source crystals this way, but the quality is exceptional and knowing the people behind these crystals are being treated properly really matters to me.

What is Fire Quartz used for?

Fire Quartz is Quartz containing natural Hematite inclusions, which create its characteristic red, rust, orange and earthy colouring. It is also commonly known as Hematoid Quartz.

Energetically, it combines two complementary qualities. Hematite is traditionally associated with grounding, stability and connection with the physical body while Quartz is associated with clarity, cleansing and amplification. Together, Fire Quartz is often worked with when you need to gather scattered energy, regain focus and move forwards from a more grounded and purposeful place.

This is an exceptional Madagascan Fire Quartz freeform with wonderful depth and movement throughout the crystal. Rich rusty red Hematite runs through clearer, smoky and softer peach-toned areas of Quartz, creating beautiful natural layers.

What really sets this piece apart are the windows into its interior. Areas of greater clarity allow you to look deeply into the crystal, revealing internal fractures, veils and reflective foils that shimmer and catch the light as the piece is turned.

There are also exceptional natural rainbows throughout, visible from both sides. Some appear as smaller flashes within the Quartz while others open into much stronger bands of colour when they catch the light at the right angle.

At 674g and 116mm tall, it has a substantial presence while still being a lovely piece to pick up, turn and explore.

How to Work With This Crystal

Hold your Fire Quartz when you feel pulled in several directions and need to bring yourself back to centre. Take a few moments to ground into your body before deciding where you actually want to place your energy.
