What I particularly love about this piece is how much there is to discover within such a small crystal.

At first you notice the clarity. But then as you turn it in the light all these other details begin to reveal themselves. The fine striations running across one side. The tiny secondary crystal growth alongside the larger formation. And then those wonderful internal rainbows, appearing and disappearing depending entirely on the angle you're looking from. It's a genuinely fascinating specimen to spend time with.

There's something about natural Quartz formations that always draws me in, the fact that all of this, the intricate faces, the striations, the secondary growth, has formed without any polishing or intervention makes it feel particularly special.

We often associate Clear Quartz with clarity, but I don't think clarity necessarily means everything suddenly becoming obvious. Sometimes it begins much more quietly, with noticing something we've previously overlooked. A pattern in our behaviour. A feeling we've been sidestepping. An understanding that something needs to change that we haven't quite been ready to look at directly.
