This completely one-of-a-kind Labradorite necklace has been individually handcrafted in copper using the electroforming process, preserving the wonderfully organic character of both the crystal and the metal around it. The Labradorite has beautiful flashes of blue, deep purple and gold that shift as the pendant moves through the light. Handmade by an independent UK artisan, this is intentionally a much more rustic, earthy style of jewellery than a traditionally polished sterling silver setting.

Why I Chose This Crystal

This Labradorite is incredible in person. As it catches the light, these gorgeous blues, purples and golden tones move through the stone and almost remind me of the colours in a peacock feather.

I also love Labradorite for those times when we're changing, growing or simply need to trust ourselves a little more. It's traditionally associated with intuition, protection and transformation, making it such a meaningful crystal to wear when you're learning to listen to yourself and trust where life is taking you.

This is a completely one-of-a-kind piece of Labradorite, with flashes of blue, deep purple and gold that shift and change as the light moves across the stone.

Some of the colour and flash is difficult to capture fully in still photography. In person, the changing colours become much more apparent as the pendant moves, giving this particular Labradorite an almost peacock-feather quality.

The copper setting has been formed directly around the crystal through electroforming, creating an organic finish that follows the individual shape of the stone.

How to Work With This Crystal

Wear your Labradorite whenever you want a reminder to trust your own instincts, particularly when you're navigating change or don't yet know exactly where something is leading.

THE ART OF ELECTROFORMED JEWELLERY

Electroformed jewellery is intentionally different from traditionally polished fine jewellery.

Each piece is individually created through a process in which copper is gradually formed around the crystal. The resulting surface can be wonderfully organic and rustic, with natural variations in texture, shape, colour and finish.

These characteristics are part of the piece rather than imperfections. No two settings form in precisely the same way, meaning the finished necklace is genuinely individual.

If you prefer perfectly smooth, symmetrical and highly polished jewellery, this style may not be for you. If you love jewellery that feels earthy, handcrafted and completely unique, that individuality is part of what makes these pieces so special.

Copper will also naturally change and develop a patina with time. Areas of deeper colour or green can appear as the copper reacts naturally with air, moisture and its surroundings. This is a normal characteristic of copper and part of the evolving character of the piece.
