Anybody that knows me will know that as much as I adore deep green, particularly dark green, I simply cannot resist bright, hot pink. Cobaltoan Calcite has that unmistakable, almost electric pink that feels alive. When I saw this piece with the rich green Malachite feathering across the surface, it was an instant full body yes. The contrast is extraordinary. The deep forest green woven through that vibrant pink feels like Earth and Heart meeting. When you look closely you can see the natural feathering of the Malachite dancing across the calcite and dotted through the matrix. It is rare, bold and utterly beautiful.

This Cobaltoan Calcite with Malachite was ethically sourced from the mineral rich lands of the Congo, a region celebrated for producing some of the most intensely coloured Cobaltoan Calcite in the world due to its cobalt content.
