The Cleanse & Clear Ritual Kit brings together four complementary energy tools to help you cleanse and refresh the energy around you and create a sense of reset. Combining traditional smoke cleansing with Selenite for smoke-free energetic clearing, it gives you everything you need to create a simple cleansing ritual without having to work out which individual tools to choose. Whether you're clearing your home, marking a transition or simply feeling the need for a fresh start, this kit is designed to help you pause, clear and consciously begin again.

Why I Created This Kit

Sometimes you can just feel when the energy around you needs changing. It might be after a difficult week, having lots of people in your home, moving through something emotionally or simply reaching a point where everything feels a little heavy or stagnant.

I wanted this kit to make cleansing really straightforward. You don't need to understand lots of different practices or own a huge collection of tools. Each piece has its own purpose and together they give you different ways to clear your space, from a more intentional smoke cleansing ritual to simply lighting incense or working with Selenite when you don't want to use smoke at all.

What is an energy cleansing ritual?

Energy cleansing is a practice found in many different spiritual and cultural traditions, although the methods and meanings vary considerably between them. Within a personal wellbeing practice, cleansing can be as simple as intentionally creating a shift in the atmosphere of your space and using that moment to release what you no longer want to carry forwards.

The physical ritual can be just as important as the tools themselves. Opening a window, lighting something with intention, moving consciously through your space and deciding what you are ready to let go of can create a tangible point of transition between what has been and what comes next.

What's Included in the Cleanse & Clear Ritual Kit?

White Sage Smudge Stick

Approx. 100mm | 30g

White Sage is traditionally used for smoke cleansing and purification. Within this kit, it can be used when you want to create a more intentional clearing ritual, moving the smoke carefully through your space while focusing on what you are ready to release or refresh.

You don't need to burn the whole stick. Light the end, allow it to catch briefly and gently blow out the flame so that the Sage smoulders. Once your ritual is complete, extinguish it fully and safely.

Small Abalone Shell

Approx. 70mm | 20g

The Abalone Shell provides a beautiful natural vessel to accompany your cleansing ritual and can be used to catch loose ash while working with your Sage.

Traditionally, Abalone Shell is also associated with the element of water. When used alongside burning herbs it can bring another elemental quality into the ritual, creating a lovely meeting of earth, air, fire and water.

Please remember that Abalone Shell can become hot. It should not be treated as a completely heatproof container or used to leave burning materials unattended.

Nag Champa Original Incense

Nag Champa offers an easy, everyday way to change the atmosphere of a room. Its distinctive warm fragrance makes it particularly lovely when you want to create a sense of ritual without carrying out a full smoke cleansing practice.

Light a stick while tidying your space, journalling, meditating or simply opening the windows and consciously resetting the room around you.

Selenite Angel Wings Etched Heart

Approx. 65mm | 120g

Selenite is traditionally associated with energetic cleansing, clarity and purification. Unlike Sage and incense, it doesn't require smoke or flame, making it a beautiful alternative when burning something isn't appropriate or when you simply want a gentler everyday practice.

The heart is etched with delicate angel wings, bringing an additional symbolism of protection, guidance and support. Keep it somewhere you regularly spend time, use it during meditation or hold it while setting an intention to release stagnant energy and create space for something new.

Why These Four Tools Work Together

Each part of the kit offers a slightly different way of approaching cleansing.

White Sage can form the centre of a deeper smoke cleansing ritual. The Abalone Shell gives you a practical vessel to work with as you move through your space. Nag Champa offers a simpler everyday option when you want to refresh the atmosphere and Selenite allows you to work energetically without smoke at all.

You don't need to use all four every time. The intention is to give you a small collection of complementary tools that you can reach for in different ways depending on what you need.

How to Use Your Cleanse & Clear Ritual Kit

Before beginning, open a window or door to create good ventilation and take a moment to decide what you want the ritual to represent. You might simply set an intention such as clearing what feels heavy or stagnant and creating space for fresh energy.

For a deeper cleansing ritual, carefully light the end of your White Sage and extinguish the flame so that it smoulders. Holding the Abalone Shell beneath it to catch falling ash, move slowly through the space you want to cleanse. You can pay particular attention to entrances, corners and areas that feel stagnant while returning your attention to your intention.

Once you've finished, extinguish the Sage completely and allow everything to cool safely.

You might then place your Selenite in the space as a symbol of the clearer energy you want to maintain.

For a simpler everyday reset, you can skip the Sage completely. Open a window, light your Nag Champa and spend a few minutes clearing or tidying the room before sitting quietly with your Selenite.

And when smoke isn't suitable at all, simply work with the Selenite on its own. Hold it during meditation, move it intentionally through your space or keep it somewhere you want to create a feeling of clarity and calm.

When Might You Use This Kit?

This kit can be particularly lovely when moving into a new home, after visitors have left, following a difficult or emotionally intense period, at the beginning of a new month or season or whenever your space simply feels as though it needs refreshing.

You can also use it before meditation, Reiki, journalling, intention setting or other personal rituals as a way of marking the transition from everyday life into more intentional space.

Fire & Smoke Safety

Always use Sage and incense in a well-ventilated space and keep burning or smouldering materials away from children, pets, fabrics and other flammable objects.

Never leave burning Sage or incense unattended. Keep the Abalone Shell supported securely and be aware that the shell itself may become hot during use. Always ensure Sage and incense are fully extinguished after your ritual and completely cool before storing or disposing of any ash.

Smoke and fragrance may not be suitable for everyone, including some people with respiratory sensitivities and some pets. If smoke isn't appropriate for your household or space, use the Selenite as your smoke-free cleansing option.
