Why I Chose This Crystal

I don't buy a huge amount of Charoite because it's becoming increasingly difficult to source well, but when I saw this pendant I knew I wanted it. The depth of purple is beautiful and it's full of those wonderful swirling patterns that make Charoite so unmistakable.

I also love the lighter windows running through the stone. They catch the light differently, giving the pendant a lovely sense of depth and movement. It's one of those crystals that doesn't need an elaborate setting. The stone really speaks for itself, with the simple sterling silver allowing all of its natural beauty to shine.
