Black moonstone, like all moonstone, has a gorgeous, soothing energy that calms and balances the mind. It promotes inner strength, resilience and is very grounding. 

It also has protective qualities and can be super helpful if you’re going through a difficult time, or feel ungrounded/out of balance. 

CRYSTAL PROPERTIES:

Black Moonstone crystal is said to align to the dark moon / new moon, so it is perfect for setting intentions upon, particularly intentions aligned to its qualities, i.e, helping us to ground, stay calm and balanced etc. This is a great stone to bring out at the start of any new adventure.

It’s a very magical stone, closely linked to Labradorite, and the same mystical and magical vibe.

Black moonstone is also very protective, deflecting negative energy, and transforming them back to light. More grounding than other Moonstones, it has a much gentler energy than other Root Chakra crystals like Black Tourmaline.
