Some crystals stop you in your tracks and this was one of them.

The colour is what caught my attention first. It almost doesn't seem possible that nature could create a blue this rich. At first glance it appears deep and almost velvety, but as you move it in the light the entire surface comes alive with tiny sparkling crystals that shimmer across the specimen.

Then there is the Malachite. It isn't obvious at first. Instead, little flashes of green reveal themselves as you spend time with the piece. It almost feels like an optical illusion. One moment you think you've imagined it and the next the green catches the light and appears again.
