This Aura Drusy Agate Heart from Brazil combines naturally banded Agate with a large sparkling drusy Quartz centre and a beautiful silvery Aura finish. Agate is traditionally associated with grounding, stability and emotional balance while drusy Quartz is believed to amplify energy and intention. The Aura treatment brings additional associations with energetic cleansing, positivity, confidence and transformation, creating a crystal that combines Agate's steadying energy with something lighter and more uplifting.

Why I Chose This Crystal

The drusy on this one is just beautiful. It has this incredible fine sparkle with tiny rainbow flashes running through it and against the softer silver and lilac Aura it really stands out.

I also love that the Aura hasn't taken away from the Agate itself. Turn it around and you can still appreciate the polished natural banding and formation underneath. Energetically, I really like that balance too. Agate brings grounding and stability while Aura energy is associated with confidence, positivity and transformation.

What is Aura Drusy Agate?

Agate forms gradually as layers of silica are deposited within cavities in rock, creating the characteristic bands and patterns visible within the stone. When part of the cavity remains open, tiny Quartz crystals can continue to grow across the surface, creating the sparkling formation known as drusy.

This piece has subsequently undergone an Aura treatment where a very fine metallic coating is bonded to the crystal surface to create its iridescent finish. The underlying Agate and drusy Quartz are natural while the silvery rainbow colouring has been created through this treatment.

This is a particularly substantial Aura Agate heart with a large drusy centre made up of hundreds of tiny sparkling Quartz crystals. The drusy has an almost rainbow iridescence, producing tiny flashes of colour as the light moves across it.

The Aura itself is softer and more silvery on this piece, moving through silver, lilac and subtle rainbow tones. The polished reverse reveals the natural Agate underneath with its banding and formation still clearly visible.

At 663g and 125mm across, this is a really impressive display piece and the included metal stand allows the heart and its beautiful drusy formation to take centre stage.
