Why I Chose This Crystal

I love how much of the natural Agate you can still see in these pieces. The beautiful banding hasn't been lost beneath the Aura finish and then right at the centre you have this incredibly sparkly pocket of tiny drusy crystals.

Energetically, I really like the balance too. Agate has that steady, grounding quality while Aura energy is associated with confidence, vitality and transformation. It feels like a lovely combination for embracing change while still feeling grounded and secure within yourself.

What is Aura Drusy Agate?

Agate forms gradually in layers, creating the distinctive bands and patterns that make every piece completely individual. In some formations, cavities remain where tiny Quartz crystals can grow, creating the sparkling surface known as drusy.

This piece has subsequently undergone an Aura treatment where a very fine metallic coating is bonded to the crystal surface, creating its iridescent finish. The underlying Agate and drusy Quartz are natural while the metallic colouring is created through this treatment.
