I chose this piece because Astrophyllite holds such a profound energy for self honesty. It was the crystal I selected for our January Crystal of the Month alongside Kyanite for the theme Facing Fear. This Astrophyllite disc displays beautiful natural flashes that appear almost like small starbursts moving across the surface of the stone. These silky inclusions catch the light and create that distinctive shimmering effect Astrophyllite is known for.

The dark grounding matrix contrasts beautifully with the lighter radiating inclusions, giving the piece both depth and movement. I was particularly drawn to the way the crystal seems to hold both shadow and light within it, which feels very symbolic of the work this stone supports.
