Why I Chose This Crystal

I find Apophyllite completely captivating, and this particular piece is especially beautiful.

What drew me to it immediately was that incredible concentration of clear sparkling crystals across the entire formation. It's almost as though someone has scattered tiny diamonds across the surface, and yet everything you're seeing is entirely natural. Look more closely and you begin to appreciate how intricate the growth really is, little crystal points everywhere, larger defined formations rising amongst them, and those lovely soft peach-pink Stilbite crystals tucked in between. The contrast between the two is such a beautiful thing, the brightness and clarity of the Apophyllite alongside the warmer, more comforting presence of the Stilbite.

For me Apophyllite has always been a crystal of clarity and perspective, and specifically for those moments when our thoughts become so tangled it's difficult to recognise what we actually need. Perhaps we're worrying about something that hasn't happened yet. Revisiting a conversation. Trying to make a decision when our emotions are pulling in different directions. Sometimes we don't need another answer or another opinion. We simply need enough space to hear ourselves again.

What I particularly love about the Pink Stilbite in this piece is how it reframes what that clarity actually looks like. Because finding it doesn't necessarily mean setting our feelings aside and thinking more rationally.
