Why I Chose This Crystal

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up we were surrounded by them. Rabbits, cats, birds, fish, chickens, dogs and even a tortoise. I have always felt such a natural connection with animals and that love has stayed with me into adulthood.

Today our two dogs are a huge part of our everyday life and they constantly remind me how simple and beautiful life can be. Animals live completely in the present moment. They find joy in the smallest things. A walk, a warm patch of sunshine, the excitement of seeing you come home.

In many ways they represent exactly what Moon & Earth is about. Finding the magic in everyday life. When I first saw these paw print hearts I immediately thought of all the other animal lovers in our community who feel that same connection.

They also feel especially meaningful for anyone who has lost a beloved animal. There is something about the heart and paw print together that says so much without needing words. Placed beside a photograph, added to a remembrance altar or simply held when you are missing them, it can become a physical reminder of a relationship that remains incredibly important even when an animal is no longer physically with us.

The Fluorite hearts are fascinating because their appearance can change enormously depending on the light. In ordinary light they can appear deep, smoky and earthy with grey or brown tones. When held towards a light source their natural translucency becomes much more apparent and individual pieces may reveal areas and bands of purple, yellow and other natural Fluorite tones.
