This large Selenite Charging Slab from Morocco is a substantial piece of natural Selenite traditionally used for energetically cleansing crystals, jewellery and the surrounding space. At approximately 875g and 190mm long, its generous surface gives you plenty of room for bracelets, pendants and multiple crystals at once. Why I Chose This Crystal

Selenite is one of my absolute essentials and it's the crystal I use most for cleansing my own crystals and jewellery. What I love about these slabs is their size. They're big, heavy pieces of Selenite with enough room to put several bracelets, pendants and crystals on them together rather than having to squeeze everything onto a small charging plate.

I also really like that these haven't been polished or decorated. You can see and feel the natural texture and fibrous structure of the Selenite and there's something beautifully simple about that.

For anyone with a growing crystal collection or lots of crystal jewellery, this is the sort of piece you can leave out permanently and actually use every day.

These are wonderfully substantial pieces of Selenite, weighing around 875g and measuring approximately 19cm long.

Unlike our polished and etched charging plates, these slabs haven't been polished. I love being able to see the natural fibrous structure and texture of the Selenite itself, with its characteristic silky luminosity and layers running through the crystal.

Each slab will naturally vary slightly in its surface, fibres, translucency, edges and markings. Rather than trying to make every piece completely uniform, these characteristics have been retained as part of the natural crystal.

Energetically, Selenite is traditionally associated with clearing and clarity, making a slab of this size particularly lovely as a permanent feature within the space where you keep and work with your crystals.

How to Work With This Crystal

The easiest way to use your Selenite slab is simply to make it the place where your crystals go when you're not using them. At the end of the day, take off your bracelets or pendants, place them on the slab and leave them there overnight.

Because of its generous size, you can also use it for several crystals at once or create a larger crystal grid directly across the surface.

If you use crystals within meditation or Reiki, you could keep the slab within your practice space and use it as a dedicated base for the crystals you're currently working with.

Selenite should always be kept dry. It is an exceptionally soft mineral and water can damage its surface and structure.

Selenite is exceptionally soft and can be scratched with a fingernail. Small surface marks, fine scratches, natural fibres, uneven areas and occasional flaking can occur even with careful handling. These are characteristics of natural Selenite rather than necessarily being damage.
