Why I Chose This Crystal

I absolutely love these part polished, part raw Labradorite pieces. We don't come across them very often, so whenever I find one, I'm always drawn to it.

What makes this one particularly special is the colour. The polished face has the most beautiful soft, pale blue flash across almost the entire surface, which is quite unusual to find. Turn it over and the raw side continues to flash with those gorgeous blues, but also reveals subtle rainbow colours running naturally through the stone.

I also love how tactile it feels. Depending on what I'm drawn to on the day, I find myself either running my fingers over the smooth polished surface or holding the natural raw side. It feels like you're experiencing the same crystal in two completely different ways.

For me, it's also a lovely reminder that we all have both a polished side and an unpolished side. The parts of ourselves that feel refined and put together, and the parts that are still growing, learning and wonderfully authentic. Both deserve to be seen, and both are just as beautiful.
