This Moss Agate was ethically sourced from the mineral rich lands of India, a region celebrated for producing beautifully patterned agates with striking natural inclusions.

What first caught my attention with this piece was the extraordinary colouring. The deep green moss like inclusions stretch through creamy white agate in a way that genuinely resembles trees and foliage spreading across a landscape. On one side you can clearly see formations that look almost like branches or leaves growing across the stone.

Along the rim there is a beautiful natural drusy pocket where tiny crystals formed naturally within the stone before it was carved. These small sparkling formations create a lovely contrast against the polished surface and make the bowl feel even more alive and natural.

You will also notice areas of warm earthy colour running through the stone. These orange tones often occur where iron rich minerals are present within the agate during formation, sometimes resembling Carnelian or fire agate tones. It gives the bowl a beautiful grounding warmth alongside the lush green moss patterns.

It is a truly unique piece and absolutely one of a kind. I have not seen another Moss Agate bowl with quite this combination of landscape like patterns, natural drusy and warm earthy tones.
