Selenite, despite how it looks, is possibly the softest of all crystals and I understand very difficult to work with and etch. It can be scratched with a fingernail. We do our utmost to send out only the best crystals but Selenite is very prone to scratch or flake even when carefully handled, packaged and posted. Likewise, sometimes the beautiful etching can be slightly off centre. just like it is in our pictures above.

Please do bear this in mind when your Selenite piece arrives. Of course, if the crystal doesn't meet your standards, then we'll do everything in our power to make you happy.
