CRYSTAL PROPERTIES:

Gua means to 'scrape' and Sha means 'petechiae'. Petechiae are the tiny red spots which can sometimes appear on the skin after use.

The key point is to 'scrape' the skin invigorate blood flow, release heat-toxins, stimulate lymphatic drainage, activate various points of the body, and bring helpful cells to the area by stimulating an immune response.

People use Gua Sha to treat chronic pain all over their body. They often do it alongside other complementary treatments like herbal medicine, massage, acupuncture, and heat therapy.

You can use these on their own or with a favourite face / massage oil. Using a green aventurine gua sha means you benefit from the properties of the crystal also.
