This Selenite Heart Charging Plate from Morocco is a beautiful and practical way to energetically cleanse your crystals and crystal jewellery. Selenite is traditionally associated with purification, clarity and creating a calmer energetic environment while the heart shape brings the symbolism of love, compassion and connection with the Heart Chakra. Why I Chose This Crystal

Selenite is one of my absolute essentials and it's the crystal I use most for cleansing my own crystals and jewellery. I love charging plates because they make looking after your crystals so easy. You can simply take your jewellery off at the end of the day, place it on the plate and leave it there overnight.

I particularly love the heart shape because it brings something softer to the energy and symbolism of the piece. Hearts have that immediate connection with love, compassion and looking after ourselves and I think that works beautifully with the cleansing energy traditionally associated with Selenite.

What is a Selenite charging plate used for?

Selenite is one of the crystals most commonly used for energetically cleansing other crystals and crystal jewellery. Within crystal traditions it is considered self-cleansing, making it particularly easy to incorporate into everyday crystal care.

Simply place your crystals, bracelets, pendants or other jewellery onto the plate when you're not using them. Many people choose to leave their crystals on Selenite overnight so they're ready to work with or wear again the following morning.

These Selenite Charging Plates are individually hand cut into a beautiful heart shape, combining one of my favourite crystal cleansing tools with the symbolism of love and compassion.

Natural Selenite has a fibrous structure which creates its distinctive silky, luminous appearance. As the light moves across the plate you'll see beautiful bands and changes within the crystal rather than a completely uniform white surface.

Each heart will have its own fibres, translucency and natural markings. These subtle variations are part of working with natural Selenite and mean that every piece has its own individual character.

How to Work With This Crystal

For everyday crystal cleansing, simply place your crystals and jewellery onto your Selenite Heart when you're finished using them. It's one of the easiest crystal rituals to incorporate into everyday life and particularly useful for jewellery you wear regularly.

You can also use the plate more intentionally. Choose several crystals connected with something you're currently working through or calling into your life and arrange them across the heart. Sit with them during meditation or journalling and set your intention for the grid.

Selenite should always be kept dry. It is an exceptionally soft mineral and prolonged exposure to water can damage its surface and structure.

Because these plates are individually hand cut from natural Selenite, there may be slight variations in dimensions, shape, fibres, translucency and surface markings.

Selenite is exceptionally soft and can be scratched with a fingernail. Small surface marks, fine scratches, natural fibres and occasional areas of flaking can occur even with careful handling. These are characteristics of the mineral rather than necessarily being damage.

Please keep your Selenite dry and handle it with care.
